Junior Advisor

Full-time position – 36 hours/week
Compensation: Base salary + commissions + performance bonuses
Immediate supervisor: Senior Advisor / Lead Advisor

About the job

The Junior Advisor plays a key role within Gestalt Financial Group. Working with a Lead or Senior Advisor, they participate in financial planning and investment management for clients.
This position is for a rigorous, service-oriented professional who wants to grow in a dynamic environment and actively contribute to the financial success of our clients.

Main responsibilities

• Participate in client meetings jointly with a Lead or Senior Advisor (approximately 75% of the time).
• Prepare and formulate recommendations for the personalized financial plans.
• Perform the data entry and the report preparation using financial planning software.
• Supporting the Lead Advisor in the investment portfolio management and in customer communications.
• Delegate non-consultative administrative and follow-up tasks to customer service specialists.
• Manage the appointment scheduling and contribute to the overall customer experience.
• Participate in the firm growth by offering a professional and personalized service.

Job requirements

• AMF Permit – Personal Insurance (mandatory)
• Mutual Fund Representative Licence (OCRI – mandatory)
• Bilingualism (French and English) – spoken and written.
• University degree in finance, administration, economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and professional presentation.
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in computer tools (Microsoft 365, CRM, financial planning software).
